Congratulations to Simon Murray formerly from South Shields, who successfully defended his PhD Thesis entitled 'A Human Factors Approach to Improving Safety in Shipping’ and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Ergonomics and Human Factors Department, Design School, Loughborough University in March 2020. Dr Murray has worked in the shipping sector for over 40 years, and currently is a consultant specialising in the gas shipping sector.
